Agra Cube Open 2026 Sees Big Drops in Personal Bests and Aryan Chhabra Triple GoldEnglish

A blistering 5.92 single and a 7.44 winning average by Aryan Chhabra in the 3x3x3 Cube set a high standard at Embarc Agra on February 21, 2026. The single-day Agra Cube Open 2026 brought together 31 competitors across eight events and 12 rounds of action in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Beyond the hardware, the day was defined by massive leaps in personal times as competitors across the board shredded their previous personal marks at the cubing competition.

Aryan Chhabra enjoyed a dominant run across the traditional puzzles, taking first place in three separate events. Alongside his victory in the 3x3 results, Chhabra secured top honors in the 4x4x4 Cube with a 29.15 average and a 25.91 single, and added the 5x5x5 Cube title with a 57.68 average and a best single of 53.10. Arnav Arora finished runner-up in both the 3x3x3 Cube at 8.49 and the 5x5x5 Cube at 1:03.64, while taking third in the 4x4x4 Cube with a 35.92 average.

Sukant Koul delivered a standout double across very different speedcubing disciplines. Koul claimed the Skewb crown with a 4.42 average and a 3.94 single, ahead of Shivam Bansal in second at 6.54 and Arnav Arora in third at 7.17. Koul also prevailed in 3x3x3 Blindfolded, where memorisation and execution without sight yielded a winning single of 21.70, outpacing Bansal who clocked 30.91 and Abhijeet Ghodgaonkar who posted 35.85.

The larger blindfolded category featured another demonstration of memory under pressure as Abhijeet Ghodgaonkar took the 4x4x4 Blindfolded title with a single of 3:22.86. Shivam Bansal placed second with a time of 4:30.06, while Ananthan Rajiv claimed third place with a 7:30.02 single. Bansal compiled a remarkably busy day across the tournament schedule, collecting podium finishes in six different events.

Short-format puzzles delivered rapid turnarounds on the tables. Ojas Nimaje topped the 2x2x2 Cube final with a 2.34 average and a 1.81 best single, leading Shivam Bansal at 2.71 and Aniket Ahuja at 2.75. In Pyraminx, Snehashish Chakravarti captured the title with a 4.34 average, edging out Bansal at 4.41 and Sukant Koul at 4.43 in one of the tightest podium finishes of the entire WCA competition.

The real heartbeat of the meeting lay in the dramatic improvements made across the roster. Aarav Heliwal cut his 3x3x3 Cube personal best to 14.99, an improvement of 48.6 percent from 29.19, while also taking on first-time official attempts in Pyraminx with 47.56 and 4x4x4 Cube with 1:08.91.
