George Enchev Dominates With Three Victories at Tarnovo Cubing Autumn 2023English

73 competitors gathered in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria on October 21 for an action-packed single day of speedcubing. Held at the School Emilian Stanev, Tarnovo Cubing Autumn 2023 provided a stage across nine rounds of intense puzzle solving. The event brought together cubers across five official categories, setting the tone for dramatic drops in personal records and tight battles across multiple finals.

The 2023 season in Bulgaria has highlighted rising standards across the board, and this cubing competition served as a showcase for both seasoned frontrunners and rapidly developing newcomers. Leading the pack was George Enchev, who delivered a standout performance by securing top honours in three separate disciplines. His remarkable consistency on the tables set a high standard from the opening round to the final solves.

In the flagship 3x3x3 Cube event, which drew a large field of 72 competitors through three rounds of action, Enchev sealed the title with a winning average of 8.61 seconds alongside a best single time of 8.01 seconds. The 3x3 results saw Ilian Bashev take the silver medal with an average of 9.59, while Antoni Milanov earned bronze with a 10.18 average. Bashev also displayed electric speed throughout the day, logging sharp individual solves that underscored the depth of local talent.

Enchev expanded his gold medal tally in the 4x4x4 Cube, topping a field of 40 participants across two rounds with a winning average of 33.36 and a best single of 31.23 seconds. Ivaylo Ivaylov Vichev followed in second place with an average of 37.12, while Italy's Simone Cantarelli secured third place with 38.15 seconds.
