A winning average of 11.51 seconds settled the final phase of the 3x3x3 Cube as Aloysius Pade secured top honours at the Western Development Museum North Battleford. The single-day WCA competition on May 30, 2026, gathered 21 competitors in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada, staging 10 rounds across seven distinct disciplines. Pade delivered a critical final solve of 11.08 seconds to fend off Laura Plourde, whose 13.10 average earned second place, while Vianne Chang rounded out the podium with a 13.91 mark.

The 3x3 results formed the centerpiece of the program, drawing 20 competitors through two intense stages of Rubik's Cube solving. Pade remained steady throughout the decisive round, producing the required pace on his concluding turn to lock in the championship. The performance set the tone for an active schedule that tested versatility across both standard twisty puzzles and unconventional formats throughout the day.

Beyond the main event, Pade captured two additional titles to finish with three individual crowns on the weekend. In the 2x2x2 Cube final, Pade recorded a winning average of 3.51 seconds and a best single of 1.93 seconds across two rounds, finishing ahead of Roland Dutrisac at 4.43 and Plourde at 4.90. Pade also led the Square-1 event, averaging 16.67 seconds with a single solve of 11.71 seconds, while Plourde posted 34.78 seconds for second and Chang placed third with 44.28 seconds.

Roland Dutrisac matched Pade by securing three event titles of his own during the cubing competition. In Pyraminx, Dutrisac posted an average of 4.40 seconds and a single of 3.46 across two rounds, holding off Pade at 5.42 and Chang at 7.46. He capped his run in Skewb, taking first with a 5.83 average ahead of Plourde at 6.66 and Chang at 9.88.

Big cube specialists found their spotlight in the 6x6x6 Cube, where Vianne Chang earned a clear victory with a winning average of 2:45.99 and a single effort of 2:40.60.
