Inside the gymnasium at Bob Miller Middle School, the rhythmic click of plastic mechanisms and the sudden slap of hands on timer mats filled the air. A field of 90 competitors assembled in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, ready to test their agility across six official disciplines spanning 11 rounds of action. With tables lined in neat rows and judges monitoring every scramble, the atmosphere was charged with competitive focus on April 1, 2023. Speedcubing talent from near and far brought high expectations to this single-day meeting.
